Today I signed the contract for Dark Moon Wolf, the first novel in my series Calling the Moon. I am ecstatic! My first book baby! This book has obviously been in progress for a long time, so I supposed I can’t say this is its conception…nor is this the birth, since I suppose that will be its publication date.
So perhaps today is akin to going into labor? I’m not sure what’s the best metaphor for this stage in my book’s coming-into-being, but it’s sure an exciting moment.
To celebrate, we had an ice cream cake. What better way to celebrate? 🙂
