“Care Time,” forthcoming Fall 2018 in Disability Studies Quarterly.
Abstract: In this creative nonfiction essay, the author discusses “care time” as the liminal place between crip time and abled time. They discuss how their role as a care partner to a spouse with a disability has changed their own relationship to time, to community, to life, and to love.
